Basement fitout

The basement of this house was dark and dingy. By lowering a terrace to floor level
and opening up the basement a light airey room was created with a conservatory as a
buffer space between garrden, terrace and ktchen useable the year round when
outside is too cool.

The conservatory made of structural glazing, including the spine beam, is designed
with Solar glass to reduce heat gain from the afternoon sun, while being able to open
completery to the terrace with large sliding folding doors allowing the entire floor area
to be open.
